		<description>Well, in Zend Framework you have no *mandatory* parent class. You can extend from Zend_Db_Table or any other class that suits your purpose, or you can write a model from scratch. In other frameworks, like CakePHP, you have to extend from the AppModel class or it won&#039;t work at all...
